Megan Burton is our Hiring Manager, ensuring that we find and retain qualified staff members who share the core values of our firm. With over twenty years of experience, Megan identifies the CPAs and support staff members that demonstrate the excellence we strive to achieve at Tandem CPAs. Her expertise helps our firm maintain a staff capable of producing the creative solutions we prioritize for our clients.

Megan began her career as a teacher and quickly moved into a leadership role at the K-12 charter school where she spent most of her career. As the Director of the Center for Professional Development at the school, she led efforts to recruit, hire, train, and retain top quality candidates for positions ranging from teaching and counseling to administrative leadership roles. Megan is a nationally-recognized presenter, and is also an accomplished poet, writer, and author. In her free time, she enjoys wildflower gazing, visiting independent bookstores, and time with friends and family members.
